..RP.. Season:Summer

(Human)

-Starr looked up at the sky,putting her hand near her eyes to shade them- Hmmm.... -She let her hand fall to her side,then looked at the ground,walking on-

Stray, in human form, sat up in a tree, on a branch. Her legs swung freely as she wrote in her journal, she occasionally glanced up at to make sure she was alone.

-Starr looked around and, seeing no one near, shifted. She ran on silently, looking up in the branches now and then. She abruptly stopped as she saw a human sitting in the tree..She growled lightly-

Stray quickly closed her journal, tucking the pen inside, then locked it. She looked towards the sound and saw a wolf. She held her journal to her chest as she whispered, "Hello." She wondered if it was feral, she had never met one of her own.

-Starr tilted her head. This girl had a strange eye color,as well as hair color. Starr thought it through,then changed,taking a step towards the tree- Greetings.

As she saw the wolf shift, she was a little nervous. She hadn't ever met another of kind, other than her family. She toyed with the key on the chain around her neck, not knowing what to say, she stared at her.

I'm Starr Barley. What's your name? -She asked,her voice almost a whisper.-

"Stray..." She said, her voice as soft and as quiet as the breeze.

-Starr almost had to strain to hear her,but nodded- Stray. Nice to meet you. What brings you here? -She talked softly-

"I was just wandering around..." She said quietly, "What about you?" She forced herself to ask.

This is my territory. -She said patiently,her hands held behind her back- My parents died when I was 14 and I was told to lead a pack. I couldn't bring myself to do it until now.

She simply nodded, she knew what the girl was talking about, but she didn't tell her that, it was too personal...too fast. "Could I..." Her voice broke and trailed off, she couldn't bring herself to say it.

-As if Starr had read Stray's mind she nodded- Join me? Yes. Besides my brother,you're the first one of our species that I've met. -Just as she finished her sentence,a black wolf came bounding up,his blue eyes glinting. He shifted to human form,fixing his hair with a movement of his head,putting his hands in his pockets- Hiya. -He said to Stray-

She instinctively flinched from all the friendliness, it was more than she had all her life. The movement caused her to lose balance and fall backwards off the branch, her journal flying from her hand.

-Mason's eyes widened and,thanks to his fastness,he raced to the ground where Stray was about to hit,catching her and her journal. He held her journal in one hand,his arm under her,and his other hand on her back-

She blushed, pushing away from him as she tried to get down. She reached for her journal desperately, she wouldn't let anyone read it, her heart pounding.

-Mason smiled a tiny bit,letting her down,and slowly handing her the journal.Starr coughed a little-

She pulled her journal out his hand and held it tight. Still blushing, she looked at her feet, wishing he hadn't caught her.

Something wrong? -He asked,his voice slightly rough. You could tell he smoked.-

She shook her head, refusing to say anything in fear her voice would betray her.

-He nodded- Alright. -He walked past her to get to Starr.Starr grabbed his arm,pulling him close so she could whisper to him- You need to stop smoking. -She nearly hissed,but he just jerked his arm away,hands in pockets,walking away-

"Where do you live?" She asked Starr, softly, still looked at her feet.

-Starr sighed then looked at Stray- In a small town not far from here. It's abandoned.

"Are we going to go anywhere?" She asked nervously.

Hmmm... We could search the boundaries of this territory before we head to the town. -She said quietly-
